EDGE WOMEN'S - Team Coaches

We are excited for the start of fall tryouts tomorrow night! There is still time to register! If you cannot register in time, we can accept walk-up registration, please email Corina and notify her. 

There are positions available at all age levels. We are looking for talented, hardworking, student-athletes who have aspirations to play NCAA/NAIA lacrosse. 

We are pleased to announce our team coaches for the fall season. Our coaches have high level playing experience in the NCAA and understand the commitment, and work required to be successful at the next level. Our coaches focus will be on player development and preparation for fall recruiting events in order to give our members the best opportunity to showcase their abilities in front of coaches and recruiters. 

Jess Lee - EDGE 2018

Playing Experience:
Team Ontario - 1996, 97, 98
Gannon University (Division II) - 1999-2003: All American 2001, 2002, 2003; Statistical Champion-ASSISTS: 2002, 2003 (Holds Gannon all-time assist record); NCAA All-Tournament Team - 2002

Lady Blue Knights U19 Elite Head Coach - 2003 - 08, 2011 - 13
Edge Elite Head Coach - 2009 - Present

Jess has been the women's Edge program coordinator and Head Coach for the past 8 years. Jess was attracted to Edge program recognizing the need for our OWFL players to have an opportunity to earn lacrosse scholarships. Jess enjoyed a very successful NCAA career and has used her experience and insight to help make Edge the most successful women's showcase program.

Barb has been with the women's Edge program for the past 8 years, as recruiting coordinator and an assistant coach. She is very knowledgeable on the recruiting process and helps players fully understand what is involved (ie. how players should market themselves, academic eligibility requirement etc.) She has a great rapport with U.S. college coaches and works with them to find a Canadian recruit that is the 'right fit' for both athlete and school.

Corina Mahorn - EDGE 2020

Lady Blue Knights - U19 Elite - 2006 - 2008
University of Detroit Mercy - 2008 - 2012: Midfielder, Team Captain (2011,12), name to NLC Second Team - after recording 24 goals, 35 points and 43 draw controls, NLC's Defensive Player of the Week honors on April 9, 2012, stands third in the history of the schools scoring stats - 110 goals, 25 assists, 135 points,146 draw controls, 4 time UDM Athletic Director's Honor Roll; 3 time NLC All-Academic Team; graduated in 2012 with Accounting Degree
