The EDGE JR ACADEMY is designed for young aspiring multi sport athletes, as well as athletes who are more focused on lacrosse year-round. EDGE offers academy training for 2010-2016 lacrosse players. Under the direct supervision of EDGE Founder Stuart Brown, the EDGE JR Academy trains regularly with a focus on development and elite performance training. Our goal is to develop great student athletes with strong fundamental lacrosse skills, and athleticism. This will allow us to then prepare them to compete at the highest levels on the US club recruiting circuit.
The Junior Academy training will focus on developing all aspects of the skills required to play Lacrosse at an elite level. Our program concentrates primarily on Field Lacrosse, but our training incorporates a hybrid Box and Field lacrosse training model to make a versatile player. Members will have the opportunity to work on the skills used in both versions of Lacrosse. We believe this training style is paramount to developing the complete player.

These tournaments and events are selected and designed to provide unique lacrosse experiences to those members who wish to participate. If you have other commitments that conflict with an event that is OK. Members have the opportunity to attend all or a few of the events offered based on what works best for you.
*Tournaments will be selected once we have formed our All Star Teams. This will happen between late august and mid September.
*Summer event schedule will only be finalized once the OLA dates are released and we can plan accordingly to avoid conflicts for our members between home clubs and Edge.
The EDGE Academy Program will be combining NCAA School visits, campus and facility tours, along with pre tournament training as a part of some US tournament weekends and trips. EDGE uses its relationships with college coaches as well as EDGE alumni who are currently in the US to build out these unique NCAA Experiences.
The opportunities for young aspiring student athletes are endless. There are currently 76 schools that offer Division 1 men’s lacrosse across 10 conferences. (AEC, ACC, Big East, Big 10, CAA, Independents, Ivy League, MAAC, Northeast Conference, Patriots League and Southern Conference).
Division 2 Lacrosse is offered at over 77 colleges across 45 US States
Division 3 Lacrosse is offered at 245 schools primarily in the northeast.
What is incredible about NCAA Lacrosse is the academic quality of schools that offer scholarships and the unmatched post graduate networking opportunities. Men’s Lacrosse offers some of the best facilities and support for student athletes in the world. With an average roster size of 45 players and the number of athletic scholarships available being between 12xFull Tuition in D1 and 9xFull Tuition in D2. Lacrosse offers one of the best recruiting opportunities across all sports. Students who have a high GPA and score well on the SAT and ACT tests can receive academic scholarships and financial aid based on university specific thresholds. D3 schools work strictly off of financial need based aid, academic scholarships and other grants and bursaries.
