2006 COACHING STAFF:
Head Coach – Pat Shea
Assistant Coach – Jimmy Shea
We are excited to welcome back Pat and Jimmy Shea to the 2006 coaching staff. Pat and Jimmy are both committed to training and developing this team as we prepare them for college recruitment. We have positional staff (goalies, defense, attack/mids) and fitness staff that will oversee positional training and development and support to our team coaches throughout the year.
Season Overview
The next 24 months are the most critical in the recruiting process for the 2006 age group. These next 2 years are transformational years where players will raise their game and develop into prospective college recruits. This is what you have all been working towards. Due to the current global climate, coaches and recruiting will rely heavily on film, coaches’ recommendations and selective in-person evaluations. Club support is extremely important as we lend our expertise and experience to help each family navigate the recruiting process.
What’s New in 2020 – 2021
We are excited to roll out some new and exciting new programming for our members. We are always looking for new and creative ways to give our members an edge.
New practice plans and positional training: We will be introducing some new staff coming on board this year that will bring fresh new drills, positional training and development, team concepts and training to the table.
Guest Coaches: We will have frequent guest coaches, former alumni, pro players, National team players and NCAA/Pro coaches out to practice to help run and oversee practice and development.
Film: We will regularly film practice and training for the varsity team. We will use the film to review systems and send highlights to college coaches.
Themed Training: Through our contacts in the NCAA, we will host themed practices from our favourite schools and run a customized practice sent over from their coach! We will provide firsthand experience to the training, intensity and focus college practices are run.
