The 2017 prep team capped off an impressive summer season with an undefeated weekend and division championship at the Philly Summer Invitational! The tournament victory marked the team’s 2nd tournament championship of the summer and concluded the season with only 2 losses all summer. The Philly Summer Invitational featured 36 club teams from across North America, the team finished 3-0 on Saturday with to earn the #1 seed going into the Championship round on Sunday. In the semifinals, the team pulled out a double OT win over Build Blocks 2017 (NJ) and later defeated Mesa Fresh in the tournament final!
Tournament recap from Top Lax Recruits
The team’s first tournament championship came in early June at the NSCLA National Cup in Richmond, VA. The annual tournament featuring the top club teams from across North America was one of many highlights for the team this summer. Competing vs top US clubs like TRUE Lacrosse, Crabs, Resolute, and LB3, the team came away with the 2017 division title by defeating Patriot in the division final.
