We were fortunate to have 9 players invited to participate in one of the top showcases in the Nation!

EDGE 2018 - James Houston

6'1, 190 lbs, James is an excellent 1 v 1 defenseman, his size, strength, and athleticism allow him to cover and harass oppositions top players in a shutdown role. James uses his stick and range well to harass opponents with hard, accurate checks and is not afraid to be physical in the right situation. His box lacrosse background makes him terrific on ground balls and playing in transition.

Black Card #62 Team GATORADE
10am Field 2 + 12pm Field 1 + 2pm Field 2

EDGE 2018 - Lucas Snider

Snider was great on face-offs in the two games I saw him. In a game against a talented Western Door team and another good FOGO, he was better than 50 percent on draws. On offense he was a very strong north-south dodger scoring a goal off of one. His overhand shot on the run is good and combined with his strength and ability to run by defenders makes him a dangerous player on offense and in transition.- 3dRising

- Faceoff/Middie for The Hill Academy
- 2013, 2014, 2015 All Canada Games All Star

Black Card #63 Team GATORADE
10am Field 2 + 12pm Field 1 + 2pm Field 2

EDGE 2018 - Phil Mazzuca

Mazzuca anchored a physical, nasty defense that showed box tendencies but, at times, excellent skills with the stick and checking abilities. Mazzuca is a good sized kid at about 6-foot and looks pretty strong; he's got an authoritative presence. He showed hockey like skills with the ball on the ground, tough in those scrum situations but also smart to goose it out and get it off the turf with good control of the handle. -3dRising

EDGE 2019 - Ryan Haigh

A crafty attackman with tremendous finishing ability, Haigh has about as good of stick skills as have been seen among attackmen of his age. A consistent finisher in front of the cage, he also has toughness to handle hard checks and physical play by defensemen. He has great field awareness and always is moving his feet, making him a tough cover for any opposing defenseman. Haigh appears to have the total package for what high-level programs are looking for in finishing attackmen. - 3dRising

EDGE 2019 - Gareth Haigh

One of the most creative goalies on the circuit, Haigh is exciting to watch on different levels. The lefty plays an extremely high arc, taking a step out on opponent windups to further cut down the available space in cage. He has quick reflexes, enabling him to react to shots even with the higher arc. It's once he has made the save, however, where Haigh really shines. He rockets hard, accurate outlet passes, and in true Brett Queener style, is always looking to take off after making the save. He generates lots of transition opportunities with his aggressive style. Haigh is also known as a very talented forward up in Ontario. - 3dRising
